Hardiness Zone Map

New USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map
The USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map is the standard by which gardeners and growers can determine which plants are most likely to thrive at a location. The map is based on the average annual minimum winter temperature, divided into 10-degree F zones.

See the Detailed State Map here

Using the Zone Map
Plant hardiness is very important to growing success. Check the map to determine which hardiness zone you live in and use that number as a reference when choosing plants. You will find zone designations with each plant description. A variety marked ZONES 3-8 should grow and thrive in zones 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

All fall shipped products will begin shipping in early September and continue through fall in all United States Hardiness Zones.
Please note: We will ship nursery stock when you want it, as long as the product is “in season.” We do not ship to Canada, Hawaii, or outside the contiguous United States.
