Veronica (Speedwell) ‘Sunny Border Blue’

Perennial Plant of the Year 1993!

‘Sunny Border Blue’ has dark violet-blue spikes on emerald green, textured foliage. These flowers are great as cut flowers and also will attract butterflies into the garden.

Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings, in cottage gardens, in meadows or along borders. Planting/Care Instructions +

Pests or Diseases: No serious insect or disease problems.

Planting Instructions: Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the crown (part of the plant where the root meets the stem) is about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly. Easily grown in average, medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional bloom.
