Hosta fortunei ‘Francee’

Hosta fortunei ‘Francee’ has charming heart-shaped, forest-green leaves with narrow white margins. It is one of the best white-margined hostas and pairs well with other varieties. It also looks fabulous with hardy ferns, astilbes, and dicentra in light shade. ‘Francee’ is a vigorous grower and may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely. This low-maintenance perennial has tiny lavender flowers that rise above its foliage mound in late summer. Hostas perform well in woodland settings where filtered light is abundant.
