Honorable Mention 1981. Diploid daylily, 18 inches tall. It blooms repeatedly in mid-season. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It’s grassy leaves remain green in color throughout the season. This is a sturdy and strong daylily that is easy to care for, with a great grassy texture and form. Plant in spring. Water freely from spring to when buds appear.

It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden composition and should be used to full effect. The Daylily is a basic for any garden, requiring minimal care. This perennial grows almost anywhere and is not particular about the soil conditions. They can be used for borders, groups or naturalizing. Daylilies are clump forming and multiply freely.
