Canna ‘Whithelm Pride’ is the pride of everyone who grows it. It is a spectacular Canna, producing clusters of cotton candy pink blossoms that are showcased by handsome dark-edged, and veined foliage. A useful Semi-Dwarf height Canna with green attractive foliage. The leaves are so lush and tropical and it’s decorative early on. These blooms will brighten the garden from midsummer to frost. Plants grow 4 feet tall, perfect for use in borders or beds. These plants originate from the rain forests of South America and Asia, although they also feel comfortable in the USA, as long as the rhizomes are kept frost-free in winter. The intensely colored flowers are excellent garden subjects and bring a tropical ambience to patios and decking. They prefer a sunny position.

Easy to Grow: 1. Dig a hole 2-4" deep. 2. Place rhizome in hole. 3. Cover with soil and water thoroughly.

Planting Instructions: Cannas thrive in sunlight, heat and humidity. Give Cannas plenty of water during the growing season. Space plants 12-18" apart. Plant heights 4'. Canna should be lifted before the first frost of fall in areas where the ground freezes. Dig, dry-off then place rhizomes in a well ventilated frost-free place for the winter.

When to Plant Outdoors: Plant in spring, after the ground warms to about 50ยบ F.
