Astilbe chinensis ‘Visions’

Chinensis ‘Visions’ has a feathery, lilac-purple bloom that is a sturdy and thick fluff. The flowers contrast wonderfully with the low-growing, large blue-green foliage. The sweet fragrance attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Smaller stature plant is perfect for containers or in clusters at the front of shaded beds. Excellent as a cut flower. This perennial thrives in moist, shady locations and is popular for border plantings or alongside water areas. Plant in groups for maximum impact.
