A near perfect perennial requiring very little maintenance and is virtually pest free. Hosta have a mounded growth habit and are ideal for a specimen plant, border, edging or woodland setting. Performs well in sun but prefers a shady location. Hostas are extremely popular, hardy herbaceous perennials grown primarily for their beautiful foliage.

They are easy to grow, shade-tolerant plants. Leaves come in a wide range of shapes, colors, sizes, and textures and may be solid in color or variegated in different combinations of blue, green, white, and gold. The plants are low maintenance.

Planting instructions: May be planted in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white or purple swelling protruding from the crown area) are about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly. A hosta plant generally reaches full maturity in 4–8 years. Leaf color may also be affected by the amount of sun the leaves receive.
