Packaged Perennials – Item FN200
Ferns are perfect for the background of the garden or in a woodland setting. Their gracefulness make them especially suited for companions to the Hosta. They performs well in sun but prefers partial shade. Care should be taken at the time of planting to insure success but low maintenance is required. Do not plant too deep; bud must be to the soil surface. Most ferns prefer woodsy, acid soil.
Planting instructions: May be planted in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the crown (part of the plant where the root meets the stem) is level with the soil surface. Water thoroughly.
• Hardy, northern grown perennials from De Groot, Inc. are low maintenance and will bloom the first year!
