Planting instructions: Before planting, soak the corms in tepid water for about 12 hours, to promote early sprouting. Grow in informal groupings of 5 or more corms. Plant corm 1-2" deep and 4" apart in well-drained soil with plenty of humus. They will grow in any type of well-drained soil, but do even better in sandy soil and in a warm spot. Anemones grow well in southern climates. Protect from frost; in extremely cold areas they should be dug up in late autumn and stored in dry sand or peat moss in a cool place. |
